Javier de la Iglesia

Javier de la Iglesia is a director of photography from Valladolid, trained at TAI School in Madrid. He began his career in the camera and lighting departments alongside directors of photography such as Javier Aguirresarobe, José Luis Alcaine and Alex Catalán.

Over time, he developed and consolidated his own visual style as a director of photography, building an extensive career across advertising, music videos and fiction/documentary projects. He has shot campaigns for brands such as Casio, Loewe, Repsol, Halcón Viajes, Famosa, Lola Lolita and Disney, as well as music videos for artists including Pablo Alborán, Manuel Carrasco, India Martínez, La Zowi, Samantha Hudson, Omar Montes, RelsB and Taburete, among others.

In feature films, he has already accumulated five titles: En Otro Lugar, La Vecina de al Lado, Hora y Veinte — presented out of competition at the Málaga Film Festival —, Mi Última Gran Montaña — currently in post-production — and La Hoguera, a thriller shot in the Dominican Republic and the debut feature by Iñigo Apestegui, recently completed.
